4,000 m 3 of concrete; over 5,000 m 2 of hall sheathing material; 7,000 m 2 of plasterboard; 21,000 m 2 of roof covering foil... these are all figures that gradually no longer worry the general manager of Alcaplast, František Fabičovic, due to the swiftness of our work on the construction of their latest facility, hall C. He currently focuses on recruiting new employees, installing the latest technologies, and transferring the existing ones.
Operations will start at the latest Alcaplast production plant in just three months! ‘We are going to transfer our black material welding shop and paint shop to hall C. There will also be our quality department, technical test rooms, research department, development department, technical production preparation, and extrusion (production of flexible sink and toilet hoses). The new hall C will also feature our tool shop and metal trough assembly. We plan to begin producing siphon and overflow hoses as well. Our new technology will have to do with the spraying of plastic end pieces onto semi-finished plastic hoses and the rotary welding of plastics,’ stresses Fabičovic, who also pointed out that the basic idea of building the hall, which will initially be used at 30% capacity, was to centralise the metalworking tasks.
